A Child’s Fieldtrip
One School day…all the children and parents board the bus to go on an adventure…

To Alun Farms we go…to learn about pumpkins! First we get taught where pumpkins come from! “Seeds, water, and Soil” from what we are told…

After we are taught on the basics of Pumpkin growth and how we are to pick them…we board a tractor hayride…All the kids sit together and converse about how big the farm is, and where all the pumpkins are in the patch…

Once our trip around the farm is over…we head into the pumpkin patch to pick our very first pumpkin!~
“Look, a pumpkin!” cries Dustyn while picking up his first pumpkin! “It’s a big one!”

“And there’s another one…hiding in the bushes…”, he shouts to me.

Soon after we get both our pumpkin’s, Dustyn stop’s to converse with a fellow classmate. He helps her pick up a pumpkin. By this time, everyone makes their way to the end of the field searching for pumpkins!

After this, we say farewell to the pumpkin patch and head to a near by park for lunch and play. The kids hurry towards the playground, with no hesitation…It’s time for fun!

They run up the hill to the jungle gym, and there is no stopping the excitement…Dustyn climbs up and looks for his friends…

He finds them playing under the jungle gym, with a puzzle, only they know where their imagination has taken them…a place all their own, out of view from parental supervision.

It is the end of the day by now, and its time to line up and head back to school…It was a great day for a field trip!
